We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team at Cooksongold, a leading precious metal manufacturer with a rich heritage and ambitious growth plans. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex analysis, including Fire Assay and instrumental methods, to ensure the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct precision weighing and use high temperature furnaces
  • Build experience in compositional analysis and test your ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment with an understanding of safety awareness
  • Develop strong attention to detail and use initiative to work independently
  • Collaborate with a small team of five to achieve shared goals
About You
  • Experience of working in a lab environment
  • Experience handling acids, chemicals, and weighing of samples
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
