About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Heany Cluster service in Kensington and Chelsea. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, helping them to develop the life skills they need to live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred support plans to customers, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Support customers to maintain their tenancies and prevent rent arrears
  • Assess customers' practical and emotional needs, incorporating them into their support plans
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure customer safety
  • Carry out weekly health and safety checks and security duties to ensure the safety of customers and premises
  • Monitor CCTV throughout the shift and report any observations relating to customer welfare
  • Support customers to integrate into the community, including accompanying them to appointments and meetings
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience working in the charity or social care sector
  • Relevant specialism experience in mental health (desirable)
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Confident and respectful communication skills
