Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individual pupils with their studies, providing a safe and friendly learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and ADD
  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils, promoting their academic and personal development
  • Engaging in sensory play and developing creative ways to support pupils with unique needs
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Providing administrative support, including maintaining records and reporting on pupil progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN pupils, preferably in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized
  • Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, and ADD, and experience working with pupils with these needs

What We Offer:

  • Competitive rate of £425-£500 per week
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, term-time only
