Simpson Millar Solicitors is seeking an experienced Business Change Manager to join our IT team in Manchester. As a Business Change Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing a change management plan to prepare the business for a new case management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate training programs for end-users to ensure they are prepared to use the new system. \t
  • Manage communication across the business to ensure all employees are informed about the project, its impact, and their roles in the transition. \t
  • Provide support to the business after the system goes live, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any issues that arise. \t
  • Develop a detailed change management plan, including communication strategies and training needs. \t
  • Conduct a stakeholder analysis to identify key users and their training requirements. \t
  • Develop a comprehensive training plan, including schedules, materials, and methods. \t
  • Create a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed about project progress and upcoming changes. \t
  • Analyse the impact of the new system on existing business processes and identify any necessary changes. \t
  • Begin developing training materials, including user guides, manuals, and e-learning modules. \t
  • Conduct pilot training sessions with a small group of users to refine training materials and methods. \t
  • Develop a plan for post-go-live support, including helpdesk arrangements and issue resolution processes. \t
  • Update and finalise business process documentation to reflect changes due to the new system. \t
  • Start rolling out training sessions to all relevant business users. \t
  • Complete all remaining training sessions, ensuring all users are trained. \t
  • Conduct a final check to confirm business readiness for the new system. \t
  • Provide support during the initial go-live period, helping users adapt to the new system. \t
  • Prepare and submit a report detailing the effectiveness of the change management process and any lessons learned.
