**Purpose**:
As the **Business Change Analyst**, you will execute the full range of **change management activities and deliverables** within the change delivery lifecycle for programmes and projects within AQA's portfolio, to enable employee adoption and usage of required changes so that results are achieved.

By **planning and delivering change interventions** including stakeholder engagement and communication, change impact assessment, sponsorship and change agent management and networks, organisational change, cultural change, training and education, transition management, readiness management, post go live support and benefits realisation, the **Business Change Analyst** will enable faster adoption, higher utilisation and greater capability and proficiency in relation to the changes by impacted employees.

You will be involved in delivering change for multiple programmes and projects within the portfolio of varying levels of complexity.

**Landscape**:
AQA has embarked upon a revolutionary period of step change driven by our bold new strategy, ranging from piloting game-changing assessment technology, to rapidly acquiring new businesses. As an organisation we must look up, out and ahead in order to deliver against our core business goals while changing at the same time. A complex and interconnected portfolio of programmes and projects is underway to meet our ambitious strategic objectives over the coming five years, which requires high quality co-ordinated delivery by AQA's project management, PMO and change management teams (the Business change hubs) to enable the anticipated return on investment, and for our people to thrive while so doing.

The role reports into the Change Lead, matrix manages the work of the Change Co-ordinator and other analytical delivery roles, partners with colleagues from the Business change hubs and the wider delivery community, and engages across AQA at all organisational levels.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**
- Experience of producing a full range of change management deliverables and managing change activities for programmes and projects of higher complexity.
- Understanding of psychological responses to change.
- The Ability to gain understanding of AQA's enterprise architecture (roles, processes, data, systems and technology), including demonstrable experience of having acquired this knowledge in other organisations.
- Experience of designing and implementing changes to process, people and technology based initiatives, including the ability to assess complex technical and process information to identify business impacts.
- Prosci or equivalent change management qualification.
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification or demonstrable project delivery experience.
- Strong communication, engagement, influence and persuasion skills, both orally (large/small groups) and in writing, with an ability to convey complex information to business users in a simple way.
- Experience of assessing complex data as an aid to solving business problems, and presenting options papers that weigh up risks and opportunities.
- To possess a growth mindset and be able to encourage this within others.
- Proactive behaviours and ability to work independently, while also aligning with standard reporting and risk management approaches.
- Be able to cope with adversity and fast-paced constantly changing environments, and to support others to do the same
- Experience of working within a matrix managed programme delivery environment.
