Compliance Conflicts Coordinator

Career Legal is seeking a dedicated individual to join a prestigious US law firm's risk and compliance team in London as a Compliance Conflicts Coordinator.

In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of a highly active risk and compliance team, collaborating closely with the Compliance Director, Compliance Lawyers, and Compliance Analysts. This position offers a unique opportunity to support both the London and New York offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough conflict checks for Lawyers on new cases.
  • Performing quality assurance checks on conflict of interest reports.
  • Assisting compliance teams in assessing relationships between various entities.
  • Supporting the establishment and upkeep of compliance walls using Intapp.
  • Addressing inquiries related to conflicts reports as needed.
  • Conducting research and analysis for lateral hires and new Lawyers.
  • Maintaining tracking spreadsheets and organizing documentation.
  • Regularly liaising with Lawyers and requesters.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in compliance or conflicts within a top-tier law firm.
  • Familiarity with SRA Rules (knowledge of US conflict rules is a plus).
  • Proficient in using conflicts management platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Proactive approach to all assigned tasks.
