Environmental Program Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) team as an Environmental Program Manager. This role will be responsible for leading EU Launch and REI programs, collaborating with various teams to drive environmental compliance, and defining the EU environmental three-year plan.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience in compliance, audit, or risk management, and a strong understanding of EU regulations and programs. They will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to lead change in multiple site environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EU EAP owner of the Launch and REI Program
  • Establish EU EAP standards and documentation for environmental activities
  • Improve integration of EU EAP into Launch and REI mechanisms
  • Build reporting mechanisms for environmental compliance tracking
  • Define long-term strategy for collaboration with 3P vendors
  • Identify KPIs for performance management and cost control
  • Influence tech teams for long-term solutions
  • Create a framework covering business needs for Launch and REI

About the Team:

The EAP team consists of environmental experts dedicated to optimizing and ensuring compliance with EU regulations. We are a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
  • Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, chemical, or environmental engineering
  • Knowledge of EU regulations and programs
  • Experience in leading change in multiple site environments
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with lean principles and process improvements
  • Master's degree or equivalent
