About the Role

Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Program Manager to lead our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance efforts in the EU. As a key member of our EPR compliance team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and launching new EPR programs to respond to legal requirements in the EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement EPR programs to ensure compliance with EU regulations, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, recyclers, consultants, and other stakeholders to communicate operations and evaluate risks.
  • Identify and prioritize regulatory requirements, define business requirements, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate with technical and operational teams across time zones to develop new mechanisms that enable the program team to move faster and more effectively.
About the Team

The EPR compliance team at Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) ensures that our transactions are collected and recycled properly. We coordinate the aspects of product transactions that are regulated, such as shipping packaging, product recycling, information to customers, etc. This involves creating programs to fulfill recycling requirements across multiple jurisdictions and monitoring selling partner compliance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, or equivalent.
  • Fluent English language skills (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Experience handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials.
  • Experience with SQL and Excel.
  • Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
