Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Medical Education, Development and Workforce team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with the delivery of postgraduate teaching and training programs for junior doctors.
  • Support the planning and organization of junior doctors' inductions and training events.
  • Compile attendance records, issue certificates, and report on absence levels as required.
  • Manage IT accounts and lone working devices for junior doctors.
  • Monitor completion of statutory and mandatory training by junior doctors and maintain records on ESR.
  • Assist with mid and end-point reviews for trainee doctors.
  • Support the management of trainee Balint groups.
Other Duties
  • Internal room bookings and logistics.
  • Liaising with speakers and presenters.
  • Inputting data on relevant databases and managing stationery and catering.
  • Updating trust-wide distribution lists and reception screens.
  • Providing a reception service for the department.
  • Attending key postgraduate meetings and organizing meetings as necessary.
