Position Overview

Salary Package: £26,000 base salary complemented by an additional £1,300 shift allowance.

Work Location: Ilford

Global Draw Limited is actively looking for Field Service Technicians to support customer sites throughout the Ilford region. The role involves servicing, installing, and repairing gaming and betting terminals.

As a Field Service Technician, you will ensure our clients receive exemplary service and provide thorough training and guidance as required. You will also contribute to the development of customer service protocols and strive for continuous improvement in service quality.

Regular travel within your designated area is expected, with the possibility of traveling to other regions as needed.

This position is vital to our operations, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week on a rotating 5-day schedule. You will be provided with a company vehicle, mobile device, tablet, and all necessary tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all new installations meet established quality standards. Oversee and coordinate the removal of equipment from client locations. Foster positive relationships with customers by providing essential operating procedures, event instructions, and updates on new software/hardware. Conduct regular site visits and maintenance as directed by your Line Manager. Document customer inquiries, incidents, and feedback.

Required Qualifications

Enthusiasm for technology and a readiness to learn new systems. Strong customer service skills. Clear and effective communication abilities. Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines. Valid UK driving license. Candidates with relevant qualifications but limited experience may also be considered. Previous experience in a technical capacity, preferably in gaming, electronics, or IT, is advantageous.

You may have held positions such as Field Service Technician, Field Engineer, Electronics Field Service Engineer, IT Support, Electronics Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Technical Support, Installation Engineer, IT Trainer, or Field Service Customer Engineer.
