Job Title: Cash and Credit Management Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cash and Credit Management Technician to join our team at Ageas Insurance Limited. As a key member of our Financial Operations team, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive bank account reconciliations, managing AIL bank accounts, and providing technical accounting support to the wider team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely bank account reconciliations for all Ageas accounts, utilizing Aurum software.
- Investigate and escalate any ongoing issues with internal stakeholders.
- Process and pay monthly claims BDX, utilizing appropriate controls to ensure reconciliations are up to date.
- Provide support to the wider Cash Management team as required.
- Support the claims float management process, liaising closely with stakeholders in Claims teams.
- Ensure effective communication at all levels, including within the Financial Operations management team and peer group.
Requirements:
- Strong numeric skills and attention to detail to handle large volumes of data.
- Intermediate to higher level Excel skills to perform various aspects of the role.
- Previous experience in an accounting environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to learn and use a variety of software, including iSeries, JDE, Aurum, HSBCnet, and Blackline.
