Job Overview

At Squarepoint Capital, we are seeking a highly skilled Platform Infrastructure Specialist to join our Application Engineering team. This role plays a critical technical part in delivering mission-critical platform infrastructure using the DevOps methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, monitor, and scale platform infrastructure to meet the needs of our business.
  • Develop and implement automated platform solutions and services used across the firm.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to build and maintain platform infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
  • Deep knowledge of at least two of the following technologies: Kafka, Consul, Load-balancing.
  • Proficient in infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security products such as Keycloak, CyberArk.
  • Familiarity with modern software development tooling, including GitLab, Kubernetes, Hashicorp Products.
  • Experience in software development (Python, Git).
  • System administration expertise (Bash, Linux, Containerization).
  • Experience with Observability systems such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus.
