About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at MRK Associates. As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our business growth by providing accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present weekly sales reports and forecasts, develop annual budgets, and handle various treasury-related tasks.
  • Cash Flow Management: Project and track daily cash flow requirements, consistently updating cash flow and balance sheet forecasts.
  • Business Insights: Compile and present weekly sales data along with other management insights, ensuring regular updates to period projections and forecasts.
  • Business Planning: Take a leading role in coordinating and managing the period update process, developing annual budgets, and contributing to the revisions of the long-term business plan.
  • Performance Analysis: Create periodic and quarterly P&L budget reports, evaluate variances, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Transaction Management: Manage and validate bank transactions, card charges, interest earnings, and accruals.
  • Foreign Currency Management: Support the management and review of foreign currency needs.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in collecting and analysing data metrics while offering support and recommendations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and previous knowledge or experience of ESG regulations and reporting disclosures would be beneficial. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills, is essential for this role.
