Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are a dynamic and ambitious soft drinks business on a strong growth trajectory, seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join our team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, and maximising profits through up-selling and utilising others within the business to grow accounts.

You will be working closely with our Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in the drinks sector, FMCG training, and a proven track record of sourcing and winning new business. If you are a motivated and ambitious individual with a can-do attitude, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue new business development opportunities
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in independent retail and some key accounts sector, through cold calling, face to face meetings etc
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Maximise profits, up selling and utilising others within the business to grow accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients

Requirements:

  • Currently a Business Development Manager wanting to take on more responsibility and be excited by the challenge of winning business
  • Ability to demonstrate sourcing and winning new business
  • Must have experience of the drinks sector and be FMCG trained
  • A can-do attitude with the capability fit the mould of a company in growth
