Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to join our team at TGW Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification, as well as reactive and preventative maintenance activities of TGW and third-party products installed on site.

You will also be responsible for supporting the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency, ensuring that customers' orders are not missed. Additionally, you will attend customer meetings to provide updates on the automation and suggest continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third-party assets on site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a minimum of NVQ level 3 BTEC ONC/HNC or similar. You will also need to have previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential, as well as the ability to work flexible shift patterns. You will also need to be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
