About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse environment, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to maximize equipment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks, including painting and plumbing, and liaise with contractors as needed to ensure seamless execution.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance the operational environment and roll out best practices across multiple EU sites.
  • Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their roles.
About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We work together to ensure that our equipment is performing at its best, and that our facilities are safe and efficient.

Requirements
  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring and fault-finding.
  • Experience working with print and apply machines and conveyor or automation systems.
