Position Overview: As a Mobility Equipment Quality Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of mobility products and equipment. This includes scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, rise recliner chairs, adjustable beds, and more. You will also evaluate and categorize pre-owned products, documenting their condition and determining their suitability for resale, repair, or disposal.

Working Hours and Compensation: This role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, offering a competitive hourly wage of £12.91, along with performance bonuses. Joining our team means becoming part of an innovative organization committed to delivering high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing various mobility devices
  • Servicing products in accordance with established guidelines
  • Assessing and testing pre-owned items
  • Documenting the condition of used products
  • Categorizing products for resale, repair, or dismantling
  • Utilizing provided tools and software for efficient repairs
  • Providing customer support over the phone regarding product issues

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Experience in product maintenance and repairs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

A valid driving license is essential for this position. While prior experience in mobility product repairs is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
