At Allied Vehicles Group, we prioritize quality and innovation, earning our reputation as a reliable name in the industry. We are currently on the lookout for committed individuals to join our team as a Mobility Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist within our Mobility Solutions division.

In this position, you will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of mobility products and equipment. This encompasses scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, rise recliner chairs, adjustable beds, and more. Additionally, you will evaluate and categorize pre-owned products in these categories, documenting their condition and determining their suitability for resale, repair, disassembly for parts, or disposal.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm, with a competitive salary of £12.91 per hour plus bonus. Joining our team offers an excellent opportunity to be part of an innovative company dedicated to delivering quality products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing various mobility equipment
  • Servicing products in accordance with established guidelines
  • Assessing and testing pre-owned products
  • Documenting the conditions of used products
  • Grading products for resale or repair/disassembly
  • Utilizing provided tools/software for efficient repairs
  • Assisting customers via phone with product-related inquiries

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Experience in product repairs and maintenance
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

A valid driving license is essential for this role. Previous experience in mobility product repairs is advantageous but not mandatory.
