Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with a team to execute electrical engineering projects, foster business development, and cultivate client partnerships. Your primary duties will include: Conducting power system analyses (load flow studies, short circuit assessments, and protection systems). Executing transient analysis of power systems for dynamic positioning assets. Preparing technical documentation and participating in site evaluations for marine and offshore installations (rigs, production units, FPSOs). Acquiring new skills and technologies, including innovative and emerging solutions. Demonstrating a solid understanding of classification standards and ensuring adherence to electrical engineering regulations (IEC/IEEE/BS/IMCA/MTS/OCIMF). Performing technical assessments and supporting tender submissions. Leading project initiatives and mentoring junior engineers. Ensuring high-quality documentation and collaborating with clients for project success.

Desired Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess a robust background in electrical and electronics engineering, complemented by relevant industry experience. Furthermore, you must exhibit excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively while demonstrating critical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.

Additionally, you will have: A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field. At least 5 years of pertinent experience. Experience in operational, design, or consultancy roles. A comprehensive understanding of the energy sector, marine operations, and maritime industry. Proficiency in Control and Electrical systems and equipment. The ability to interpret and analyze Controls and Electrical schematics. Programming skills in Python, Power Factory, ETAP, C++, PSCAD, or other embedded electronics software.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex concepts in clear verbal and written communication. Technically and commercially savvy. Capacity to establish effective client relationships. Proficiency in producing detailed technical reports with a high level of written English. Strong presentation capabilities. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and engaging. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Financial insight into consultancy operations.
