Electrical and Electronics Engineering Faculty Role
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage with a vibrant team within the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology
- Deliver instruction for both graduate and undergraduate courses in electrical engineering and associated disciplines
- Guide and mentor students while actively participating in departmental initiatives aimed at program enhancement
- Conduct research that aligns with the strategic objectives of the Engineering Department
- Incorporate leading-edge technologies such as quantum science, artificial intelligence, and photonics into research endeavors
Key Duties:
The selected candidate will be expected to fully engage in educational and research activities, provide student advisement, and contribute to the department's growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is essential
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels
- A strong publication record and proven success in securing research funding
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in areas such as quantum or nano-scale devices, artificial intelligence, or power electronics is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleanroom technologies and facilities is advantageous
