Pest Control Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team at Tyler Mason Consultants. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a pest control service to our customers in Essex and East London, as well as other areas as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Survey customers' premises, identify infestation sources, and advise on treatment options and methods of control
  • Analyse information, carry out risk assessments, recognise problem areas, and implement solutions to achieve satisfactory results
  • Carry out treatment or extermination processes using appropriate mechanical traps, chemical solutions, powders, or gases
  • Clean and remove blockages from infested areas
  • Pigeon shooting and trapping
  • Prepare written reports for administration purposes
  • Maintain company vehicle
  • Use of Service tracker system to access and update jobs
  • Obtain leads for new business whenever possible
  • Promote the company by providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • BCPA level 2 or equivalent (proof will be required)
  • Minimum of 1 year's traceable experience within the last three years
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possession of a full clean driving license
  • Be self-motivated and work on own initiative

The successful applicant will be able to produce accurate and concise reports for the client and will be responsible for complying with the latest Health & Safety, Environmental, and Pesticide usage regulations.
