ROLE: Strategic Sourcing Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Consultant to join our team at Phyton Talent Advisors. As a Strategic Sourcing Consultant, you will be responsible for managing RFPs, conducting commercial analysis, negotiating with suppliers, and utilizing Fieldglass and Ariba tools for projects and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFP Management:
  • Develop and manage RFPs to source goods and services.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications for RFPs.
  • Commercial Analysis:
  • Perform comprehensive commercial analyses of supplier proposals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-added services.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Supplier Negotiations:
  • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
  • Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments as necessary.
  • Tool Utilization:
  • Utilize Fieldglass for contingent workforce management.
  • Use Ariba for sourcing, procurement, and contract management activities.
  • Generate and analyze reports to track procurement performance and identify improvement areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Fieldglass and Ariba tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed commercial analyses.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
