About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our Global Procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the Purchase Strategy Teams program and enabling PST leads to create and execute comprehensive purchase strategies for key spend areas within Global Procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchase strategies to optimize sourcing results
  • Coach teams on how to execute their purchase strategies to ensure short-term initiatives, mid-term actions, and long-term strategies are achieved
  • Serve as a resource for teams on topics including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, supplier diversity, sustainability, contracting, performance, and risk management
  • Work with Purchase Strategy Team Leads to understand spend and identify opportunities to support Global Procurement objectives
  • Produce reporting and analysis of spend area strategy teams to identify improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate implementation of change initiatives to improve purchase strategy team performance
  • Identify and share best practices used to develop purchase strategies and lead teams, including but not limited to stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations
  • Build strong relationships with team leads with a focus on fostering trust and collaboration
  • Develop a maturity plan for purchase strategy team program implementation and provide regular progress updates to the GPLT
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with related experience a must. MS/MBA/CPIM a plus
  • Minimum 5 years quality, sourcing, or related/relevant experience within a multi-plant or multi-divisional business, required
  • Must have proven track record of successfully managing projects, people, and resources and responsible for developing and implementing purchase strategies within a global environment
  • Strategic long-term and short-term thinking, ability to multitask with a sense of urgency
  • Interface and influence with external resources and internal resources at all levels, highly desired
