Regional New Business Development Manager

Cloud 9 Recruitment is partnering with a leading global packaging group to find a talented Regional New Business Development Manager for their Southwest region. This exciting opportunity has been created to attract experienced professionals who can drive growth and success in the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities for the region, with a focus on securing deals worth £750k-£1million per annum.
  • Develop and implement new business sales strategies to attract key opportunities at potential new customers with a packaging spend of between £100k-£500k per annum.
  • Generate a pipeline of suitable leads, arrange and attend meetings to discuss customer requirements, and provide full product knowledge and packaging solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and ensure repeat and new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Work closely with internal sales, designs, and operations to ensure a first-class customer service experience.
  • Conduct regular sales forecasts and analysis for senior management.
Requirements
  • Experience working within the packaging industry in a field sales position is essential.
  • Able to demonstrate a creative, positive, and enthusiastic approach to new business development.
  • Personable and an excellent relationship builder.
  • Ability to demonstrate successful history of securing new business and developing a region.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and driven in securing new business.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence to converse on all levels.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated.
  • Can-do attitude and embraces new challenges.
  • Strong IT skills and experience of working with a CRM platform.
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
