Social Value Business is a leading consultancy specializing in social value measurement, development, and training. Our team of experts works with organizations to help them develop, measure, and enhance their social value.

Role Overview

This is a remote contract role for an Associate Social Value Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects and working with clients to develop and implement social value strategies, conducting social value assessments using models like Social Return on Investment (SROI) and Local Multiplier.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects and work with clients to develop and implement social value strategies
  • Conduct social value assessments using models like Social Return on Investment (SROI) and Local Multiplier
  • Provide support to embed social impact and value reporting and management within organizations
  • Develop and deliver training on social value measurement and reporting
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement and consultation
  • Develop and implement social value measurement frameworks and toolkits
  • Provide expertise on Corporate Social Responsibilities and Triple bottom-line
  • Undertake social value audits and assessments
  • Develop and deliver reports on social value and impact
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement social value strategies

Requirements

  • Experience in social value measurement and reporting
  • Experience in conducting social impact assessments using models like Social Return on Investment (SROI)
  • Stakeholder engagement and consultation skills
  • Strategic and operational management experience delivering services and social value strategies
  • Developing meaningful social value strategies
  • Experience with social accounting models like Local Multiplier Effect and Social Contract
  • Creating social value measurement frameworks and toolkits
  • Insight, knowledge, and experience in Corporate Social Responsibilities and/or Triple bottom-line
  • Developing and delivering training
  • Undertaking social value audits and assessments
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Mentoring and coaching of managers and leaders
  • Experience working with diverse organizations and sectors is a plus
