We are seeking a passionate individual to join our vibrant team at one of our esteemed nurseries as a Childcare Support Specialist. If you are committed to fostering children's growth and learning, this opportunity is tailored for you.

Working Hours: Full-time and Part-time: Monday - Friday (hours may vary)

Compensation: £13.50 per hour

Location: Hyndburn

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute positively to children's educational experiences.
  • Exhibit a nurturing demeanor to cater to the children's needs, emphasizing their wellbeing.
  • Assist children with additional requirements.
  • Facilitate engaging group activities for your designated children.
  • Provide daily care for your key children, promoting their independence.
  • Maintain a calm and approachable presence for children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication.
  • Uphold high standards of quality within the nursery environment.
  • Conduct observations to identify developmental gaps in children.

Your Qualifications:

  • Support the lead educator in creating a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating atmosphere.
  • Collaborate effectively with the nursery teacher, other professionals, and families.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Have relevant experience in a childcare setting.
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification or equivalent.
  • Possess an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
