Job Overview

The Firmwide Risk Reporting and Middle Office (RRMO) team operates within the Risk Management & Compliance division. This team is responsible for delivering essential Firmwide and Wholesale Internal and Regulatory reporting, ensuring effective risk management amid fluctuating market conditions and adhering to regulatory standards. The Risk Middle Office focuses on the creation and oversight of critical risk data primarily related to Market, Credit, Country, and Principal Risk.

As a Governance Associate for Reporting and Citizen Development Tools within the RRMO Governance team, you will engage in various key functions that bolster the global organization. Your responsibilities will encompass governance and reporting for Reports, Intelligent Solutions (IS), and User Tools (UT), as well as action plan remediation and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the governance process for Reports, Intelligent Solutions, and User Tools.
  • Review and authorize modifications to metadata associated with reports, ISs, and UTs.
  • Prepare and lead governance meetings for RRMO reports, including reviewing new submissions and decommission requests, setting agendas, and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly governance control validations to ensure compliance with RRMO and firmwide policies.
  • Assist in the remediation of control action plans and support the recertification processes for Reports, Intelligent Solutions, and User Tools across the department.
  • Contribute to the development of management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Drive enhancements by improving existing processes and applications to boost efficiency.
  • Lead special governance projects from inception to completion, coordinating working groups to achieve successful results.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and research as required.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
  • Experience in project management, business management, governance, control management, or data analysis.
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks, and complete assignments with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable navigating projects with unclear pathways.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (including formulas, pivots, graphs, and formatting).
  • Confidence in working with and analyzing extensive data sets.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a matrixed environment and fosters partnerships with colleagues across various levels and locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize information and present to senior management clearly and confidently.
  • A drive for continuous improvement and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • A BA/BS degree is required.
  • Familiarity with Intelligent Solution technologies (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau).
