As a Trading Services Associate in the Credit Portfolio Group, your primary responsibility will be to assist the trading desk while collaborating with key business stakeholders. You will actively monitor risk controls related to trading activities and oversee risk management across diverse products and initiatives.
Your role will also involve direct interaction with the front office and engagement with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Additionally, you will contribute to various initiatives aimed at enhancing and expanding the existing control framework, as well as leading updates and reporting on current risk controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate a complex global operations framework within a large financial services organization, balancing the needs of essential partners across business, operations, and technology.
- Support the XVA Trading desk by executing key risk management and oversight controls for trades.
- Establish and maintain an effective control environment, setting minimum standards and developing new processes as necessary.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to address and resolve issues and action items.
- Compile weekly metrics that contribute to various business control forums.
- Ensure traceability of all data and related controls for regulatory assessments.
- Strong investigative skills with a focus on data analysis and solution identification.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
