About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Operational Risk Framework team in the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Execute Annual Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA): Partner with CIB and Firmwide assessment leads to execute the CRA, ensuring effective risk management and governance.
  • Manage and Execute Quarterly Compliance and Operational Risk Summary (CORS): Work with CIB risk stripe leads to manage and execute CORS, providing timely and accurate risk information.
  • Project Manage and Govern the Operational Risk Framework: Oversee the implementation of the Operational Risk Framework across the CIB, ensuring effective risk management and governance.
  • Manage Specific Operational Risk Framework Deliverables/Workstreams: Manage and deliver specific workstreams to completion, ensuring timely and effective risk management.
  • Create and Manage Project Plans, Scorecards, and RAID Logs: Develop and manage project plans, scorecards, and RAID logs to ensure effective project management and risk governance.
  • Lead Meetings with Key Stakeholders: Lead meetings with key stakeholders to drive forward the CIB Operational Risk Framework agenda, ensuring effective risk management and governance.
  • Represent the CIB Operational Risk Framework Team: Represent the team in meetings across the firm, speaking on behalf of CIB in various working groups on matters related to CORE, RED, CORS, and CRA.
  • Lead and Own the Review of Firmwide Standard/Procedure Gap Analysis: Lead and own the review of Firmwide Standard/Procedure gap analysis in relation to the Operational Risk Framework, providing effective challenge to second-line of defense and corporate.
  • Manage and Coordinate Audit/CCOR/Regulatory Exams: Manage and coordinate audit/CCOR/regulatory exams impacting the Operational Risk Framework team, working with key stakeholders across the firm to complete requests for information.
  • Support in the Creation of Executive Presentation Materials: Support in the creation of executive presentation materials, such as steering committees, off-sites, and regulatory communications, ensuring effective risk management and governance.
