Position Overview

As a vital contributor to our established Sales & Operations team, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding client relationships. Your role will involve showcasing your expertise in our products, managing contracts for existing accounts, and driving new sales initiatives within the North East region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers and prospects to fulfill their sales and service requirements.
  • Formulating and executing strategic sales plans for customer accounts, overseeing all proposal activities from quote generation to purchase order processing.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Coordinating support resources to maintain and enhance existing accounts while pursuing new opportunities.
  • Participating in plant visits, conducting audits/surveys, and performing necessary water analysis/testing as required.
  • Upholding the integrity of sales and marketing strategies to achieve set sales objectives within your designated territory.
  • Meeting or surpassing assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and alignment with company strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to foster and cultivate relationships with clients while supporting multiple managers and teams. Key qualifications include:

  • Exceptional communication skills across various platforms and a strong customer service orientation.
  • A motivated, goal-driven, and organized approach with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proven project management experience with a history of exceeding sales targets.
  • A background in Account Management or sales within the water/process treatment sector or industrial environments.
Essential Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

  • A technical qualification in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
  • A strong track record in value delivery and sales strategies, successfully acquiring new accounts and developing markets.
  • Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals along with associated monitoring technologies.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • A valid UK driving license.
