Account and Sales Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Account and Sales Professional to join our team at Wise Employment Group. As an Account and Sales Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, demonstrating your systems knowledge, and displaying your wealth of contract management across your existing accounts while being fully engaged in the pursuit of new sales within the North East region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Account Management: Selling, demonstrating, and promoting a range of specialty water, process chemicals, and monitoring technologies to a wide range of industries.
- Customer Support: Working with customers and prospective clients to support their needs that will vary in size and difficulty.
- Account Planning: Developing and executing customer account sales plans, coordinating all proposal activity from generating quotes to processing POs.
- Account Growth: Coordinating support resources to maintain and grow existing accounts and win/close new accounts.
- Plant Visits and Audits: Conducting plant visits, auditing, surveying, and managing any trial work.
- Water Analysis and Testing: Occasionally conducting appropriate water analysis/testing and reporting.
- Sales and Marketing Strategies: Continuously working on strategies and implementation of sales and marketing programs to achieve company sales targets within the North East.
Requirements:
- Background and Experience: A background in Account Management or sales in a water/process treatment company or chemical plant.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills with customers, contractors, and internal staff to inspire and support the company's objectives.
- Project Management: Excellent project management experience and a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Reporting and Analysis: Able to report on the status of all customers and identify growth areas and new service requirements.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Technical Qualifications: Technically qualified in chemical, environmental, mechanical, or similar engineering environment – or time served in industry.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer focus and the desire to excel at services and challenges given by a customer.
- Driving License: A clean UK driving license is a must.
Benefits:
The company boasts one of the best benefits packages along with a competitive basic salary. Dependent upon the amount of experience you bring, the role pays between GBP 40,000 and 50,000 – to achieve GBP 50,000 you will have already worked within a water processing environment and handled chemicals, with evidence of your sales and achievement of KPIs.
