Chemical Sales Account Executive

As an integral part of our dynamic Sales & Operations team, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding client relationships. Your role will involve showcasing your expertise in our products, managing contracts for existing clients, and driving new sales initiatives across the North East region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with customers and prospects to fulfill their sales and service requirements.
- Formulating and executing strategic sales plans for customer accounts, overseeing all proposal activities from generating quotes to processing purchase orders.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Coordinating resources to sustain and grow existing accounts while pursuing new opportunities.
- Participating in site visits, audits, and trials as necessary, including conducting relevant water analysis and reporting findings.
- Upholding the integrity of sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives within your designated territory.
- Achieving or surpassing assigned quotas related to activities and results.
- Promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and alignment with company strategies and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to foster and cultivate relationships with clients while supporting multiple managers and teams. You should have exceptional communication skills across various platforms and a customer service orientation that is intrinsic to your character.
Successful Account Managers typically exhibit:
- Motivation, goal orientation, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization capabilities.
- Proven project management experience with a history of exceeding targets.
- A background in Account Management or sales within the water/process treatment sector or industrial environments.
To excel in this role, you should be:
- Technically qualified in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related engineering field, or have significant industry experience.
- Skilled in delivering value and employing effective selling strategies, with a proven record of acquiring new accounts and developing markets.
- Knowledgeable about specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies.
- An enthusiastic and responsible team player with a positive attitude towards personal and product learning.
- In possession of a valid UK driving license.
