About the Role
Axon Moore is excited to partner with a dynamic, globally-oriented organization seeking a Finance Support Specialist to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis.
Our client is in search of a skilled Finance Support Specialist who will integrate seamlessly into their small, collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee essential clerical functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets, ensuring timely closure and opening of relevant ledgers.
- Administer month-end accounting services for group entities as directed by the Group Financial Controller.
- Conduct month-end reconciliations and maintain accurate underlying ledgers, ensuring the general ledger is reconciled properly.
- Prepare month-end and year-end journals to facilitate effective management of the organization and comply with accounting standards.
- Manage VAT and Corporation Tax processes efficiently.
- Address audit inquiries promptly, providing necessary information to auditors and supporting any additional queries that may arise.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in accounting and ledger management is essential. An AAT qualification or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Working Hours and Compensation
This position offers a competitive salary of £33,000 (FTE) with part-time hours ranging from 25 to 28 hours per week. Our client is highly flexible regarding the distribution of these hours, allowing for completion over 4 or 5 days.
This is a remarkable part-time opportunity that should not be overlooked.
