Your new role will involve supporting a pupil in year 3 on a 1:1 basis at a single-form entry primary school in Winsford. As the main point of contact, you will meet the pupil at the school gate and accompany them back to their grown-up at the end of the day. You will support the pupil during lessons and break-times, ensuring all activities are inclusive, accessible, and engaging. To accommodate their SEMH, you will take a holistic approach to their education, actively encouraging them to participate in learning material and maintaining engagement at all times.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Full "Right to Work" in the UK
  • Recent referenceable experience supporting SEN
  • Experience supporting SEMH and/or challenging behaviours
  • The ability to build strong constructive relationships
  • The ability to implement positive behaviour strategies
