Internal Sales Executive Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small family-owned British manufacturer of technical components as an Internal Sales Executive. The role involves calling dormant and existing OEM and Contractor accounts, as well as generating new business following up leads generated by marketing and from the company's website.

After 12 months, you will be expected to generate appointments for the external sales team and accompany them on client visits, leading to the possibility of becoming a field sales person after 2 years. This role offers excellent prospects to progress into field sales with lots of training and longer-term opportunities to become a Sales Manager or even move to work in the USA sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Call dormant and existing OEM and Contractor accounts
  • Generate new business following up leads generated by marketing and from the company's website
  • Generate appointments for the external sales team and accompany them on client visits
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in internal or external sales of technical components to OEM or Contractors
  • Experience of electrical or electronic components or of enclosures and boxes would be advantageous
  • Electrical qualifications would be great too but are not essential
