Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Membership Development Executive to join our team at Membership Bespoke. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through effective membership sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and qualify new business leads to approach about membership
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director and Account Manager to prioritize targets and develop focused sales approaches
  • Prepare and send targeted letters and/or email approaches to secure sales meetings with C-suite individuals
  • Conduct thorough research on corporate websites, social media, and industry websites to prepare sales meeting briefings/proposals
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve overall team sales approaches and meeting targets
  • Maintain and drive effective use of CRM data

Requirements:

  • Some experience in business development and lead generation is essential
  • Assisting with the management of a sales pipeline, preferably from having worked or currently working in a membership organization
  • Desire to move into a sales lead role in the future
  • Experience of working with CRM systems is essential
  • Highly organized, self-starter, confident in dealing with very senior stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to summarize information and actions from group meetings
  • Good Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM)
  • Pro-active approach and uses own initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Professional/financial services experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Higher education such as A Levels and/or relevant experience
