About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and ambitious Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Architecture Social. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the acquisition of new business in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development Support: Provide active support to our Business Development Team, including senior leaders such as the Managing Director, Partners, and Associates.
  • Market Expansion: Strengthen our studio's presence in existing markets, focusing on the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
  • Client Relationships: Develop new client, consultant, and collaborator relationships while maintaining existing ones.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare, coordinate, and produce PQQ/RFP/RFQ/RFI submittals, creating and editing content for proposals, interviews, pitch decks, and business development materials.
  • Project Management: Organize and update project information sheets, CVs, and project portfolios.
  • CRM Management: Manage CRM and project databases, becoming a subject-matter expert and resource for the team.
  • Market Research: Conduct initial assessments and vetting of new potential projects, supporting proactive market research.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare regular status updates and assist in drafting fee proposals for potential projects.
  • Global Press Team Support: Support the Global Press Team on lectures, exhibitions, and press-related activities.
  • Client Tours: Coordinate office and project-related tours for potential clients and collaborators.
  • Initiative and Innovation: Proactively bring new ideas and initiatives to the table.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Studies, Communications, Writing, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or design industries.
  • A strong interest in market research in architecture and design, especially in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, self-disciplined, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team, often under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, with strong graphic skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Sugar, Open Asset, or Airtable.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in another language is a plus.
