Based in a central location, our project delivery team is uniquely composed of contractors, quantity surveyors, project coordinators, and engineers, alongside traditional client-side cost and project managers.
We are currently looking for a skilled, full-time Construction Project Coordinator with a solid grasp of JCT Contracts to enhance our talented workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Construction Project Coordinator, you will serve as Circle Development's primary representative, collaborating with both clients and contractors to ensure effective project execution. You will play a crucial role in the project, acting as the main point of contact from our team, guiding the project to successful completion. Your involvement will span various projects, from new constructions to refurbishments, with values ranging from £20 million to £100 million.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Administering contracts in the capacity of Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Engaging with clients to foster, develop, and sustain relationships.
- Overseeing projects to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and outcomes.
- Preparing tender documents and managing the tendering process, including the design of evaluation criteria.
- Compiling contract documentation, ensuring all relevant components are included.
- Assessing and reporting on all facets of project timelines.
- Mentoring and guiding team members to reach their full potential.
- Identifying new business opportunities and promoting growth across various business units.
- Promptly advising management of any issues that arise or may arise during projects.
Qualifications:
- MRICS or actively pursuing APC within the next year.
- Experience with JCT Contracts.
- Background in residential new builds.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Technical proficiency with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
