Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Team Manager to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of our Maidstone Mental Health Together Plus Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership and coordination of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of effective, efficient, and high-quality service for service users.
  • Line manage clinical staff and utilize data to monitor the performance of the service against performance and quality indicators.
  • Use your leadership skills to motivate and support high levels of performance amongst your team and delivery of quality care.
  • Ensure that Trust policies are adhered to and take appropriate action where performance and conduct issues arise.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other services to promote and enhance patient experience and recovery.
  • Work with the Patient Safety and Quality team to improve clinical quality and safety, ensuring the risk register is kept up to date and incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner.
  • Work with the clinical and admin leads to ensure the team works to continuously improve the safe and effective delivery of care and that the patient and carer experience is positive.

Requirements

  • Experience of working as a band 6 or band 7 practitioner in a community mental health service.
  • Good understanding of the health and social needs of service users.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience.
