About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality and Events Executive to join our team at Sedulo Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Front of House and Bar logistics within our Liverpool office, while also assisting in creating memorable events.

The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and a desire to develop a career in this area for one of the UK's fastest-growing financial institutions. You will work closely with our senior management team and Heads of Departments to respond to hospitality requests, collaborate with our Marketing and People & Culture teams to develop ideas for future team socials and wellbeing events, and manage food and beverage duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with local suppliers and businesses to create links between Sedulo and the wider community, using these links to create experiences for staff.
  • Manage food and beverage duties, including maintaining stock levels, ordering, beer line cleaning, and planning catering for special events.
  • Ensure hygiene standards and health and safety are upheld.
  • Provide general catering for the office team, including breakfast, afternoon teas, and socials.
  • Conceive and suggest new ideas for events and hospitality, and help drive them to fruition.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of events across all offices, and occasionally lead on foundation initiatives or events.

Requirements:

  • An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in bar, restaurant, hotel, or events with hosting/reception work, preferably with bar and Barista experience.
  • Project management skills and confidence in delegating tasks to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation, preferably.
  • Efficient and effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
