Community and Events Fundraising Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community and Events Fundraising Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, Sedulo Group Limited, and contribute to the success of our events and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the logistics of events, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute events, such as conferences, seminars, and networking receptions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and businesses to create links between Sedulo and the wider community.
- Work closely with the senior management team and Heads of Departments to respond to hospitality requests and arrange events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and People & Culture teams to develop ideas for future team socials, wellbeing initiatives, and external events.
- Manage food and beverage duties, including maintaining stock levels, ordering, and planning catering for special events.
- Ensure hygiene standards and health and safety are upheld.
- Provide general catering for the office team, including breakfast, afternoon teas, and socials.
- Conceive and suggest new ideas for events and hospitality initiatives, and help drive them to fruition.
- Assist in the creation and execution of events across all offices, and occasionally lead on foundation initiatives or events.
- An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in bar, restaurant, hotel, or events, with hosting or reception work preferred.
- Project management skills and confidence in delegating tasks to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation preferable.
- Efficient and effective user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
