Job Title: Procurement Leader – Strategy & Supplier Management

Salary: Circa £45,628

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Leader to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage and improve supply chain relationships with key suppliers
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver procurement projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and technologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
