Working Hours: Full-time, with a schedule of 1 day on followed by 2 days off, or 2 days on and 4 days off (including sleep-in shifts). Our service operates year-round, and rotas are provided in advance.

Compensation: £12.35 to £13.35 per hour for daytime shifts (based on qualifications), plus £60 for each sleep-in shift (approximately translating to an annual salary of £32,119 to £34,195). There are opportunities for additional hours at an enhanced pay rate.

Candidate Profile:
We seek compassionate and encouraging individuals who can deliver exceptional care and support to our young residents, helping them achieve remarkable outcomes.

Our Stoke-on-Trent facility is a cozy group home designed for three young individuals requiring therapeutic placements. Our dedicated teams assist each young person with their daily living needs, educational pursuits, and social skills development while engaging in enjoyable activities and outings together.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care environment
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Comprehensive understanding of Ofsted regulations, standards, and best practices
  • A valid UK driving license
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions
  • Alignment with Esland's values, emphasizing a therapeutic and person-centered approach to childcare
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older due to industry regulations
