Position: Claims Executive/Senior Claims Handler
Are you an experienced Claims professional seeking a stimulating opportunity? Howden, Corporate & Commercial, is on the lookout for a proactive Claims Executive/Senior Claims Handler to oversee claims from inception to resolution, ensuring outstanding service and support for our clients throughout the journey. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to collaborate closely with our partners and enhance our 'Excellence in Claims' initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of claims for corporate clients
- Assist with intricate transit losses
- Evaluate claim patterns and work alongside Risk Management
- Establish strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with clients
- Support new business development and product innovation
- Mentor and train team members
- Prepare claims reports and participate in client meetings
Essential Requirements:
- Proficient understanding of General Insurance and industry standards
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Preferred experience across various product lines
- Strong technical abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- A levels (advantageous)
- Diploma in Insurance (advantageous)
