Position: Claims Executive/Senior Claims Handler

Are you an experienced Claims professional seeking a stimulating opportunity? Howden, Corporate & Commercial, is on the lookout for a proactive Claims Executive/Senior Claims Handler to oversee claims from inception to resolution, ensuring outstanding service and support for our clients throughout the journey. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to collaborate closely with our partners and enhance our 'Excellence in Claims' initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of claims for corporate clients
  • Assist with intricate transit losses
  • Evaluate claim patterns and work alongside Risk Management
  • Establish strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with clients
  • Support new business development and product innovation
  • Mentor and train team members
  • Prepare claims reports and participate in client meetings

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficient understanding of General Insurance and industry standards
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Preferred experience across various product lines
  • Strong technical abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • A levels (advantageous)
  • Diploma in Insurance (advantageous)
