Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children's residential service in Tadcaster. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our service users, while also managing a team of staff and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support
  • Ensure the maintenance of high standards of care and safety in the service
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of our service users

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
