We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to become a part of our gastroenterology team. This full-time role encompasses a variety of responsibilities in outpatient, inpatient, and endoscopic gastroenterology care. We also welcome applications for part-time or job-share positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional gastroenterology services within a district general hospital setting, including endoscopic procedures
  • Contribute to the enhancement and development of gastroenterology services
  • Oversee junior medical personnel and engage in educational initiatives
  • Participate in clinical audits and governance activities aimed at quality enhancement

Job Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services
  • Engage in service development and adhere to national frameworks
  • Mentor junior staff and support educational activities
  • Participate in clinical audits and governance processes

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Full GMC Registration with a License to Practice
  • MRCP or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in postgraduate education
  • Current knowledge of evidence-based practices
  • Familiarity with specialty trends

Desirable:

  • Higher degree or equivalent qualification
  • Training in specialized gastroenterology areas
  • Subspecialty expertise within Gastroenterology
