Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineering Principal Consultant to join our team at SLR Consulting. As a key member of our process safety team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the design, operation, and maintenance of hazardous processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process engineering standards, manuals, and methodologies for clients.
  • Interface with site management, engineering, operations, and health and safety teams to resolve process safety risks.
  • Conduct onsite surveys of chemical process plant, including vessels, tanks, pipework, and structures.
  • Perform hazard identification and risk assessment studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA.
  • Provide process engineering expertise in support of design, engineering, and EHS studies, design reviews, and projects.
  • Lead multiple projects and ensure strong integration across the organization.

Requirements

  • Chartered engineer with a degree in chemical or process engineering.
  • Ability to develop good personal relationships with colleagues and contribute constructively to projects.
