Position Overview

As a Senior Process Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in steering process safety engineering teams through various stages of projects, ensuring that all deliverables are achieved efficiently and within financial parameters. Your work will span highly regulated industries, including nuclear and water sectors, where you will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts. This position will require client engagement, technical analysis, report generation, and the development of presentations, highlighting your process safety proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate hazard assessments such as HAZID and HAZOP
  • Perform consequence analysis utilizing specialized software
  • Create specifications for safety systems and conduct Layers of Protection Analysis
  • Apply knowledge of IEC61508 / 61511 standards
  • Implement Safety Instrumented Systems while ensuring functional safety
  • Adhere to COMAH & DSEAR regulations
