Job Title: Telephone Business Development Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through proactive telephone contact with intermediaries in your allocated region. Your primary focus will be on promoting West One Loans' products to new and lapsed businesses, while also handling key account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, manage, and develop relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets.
  • Support Business Development Managers (BDMs) with mortgage and loan case management for broker partners and accounts.
  • Identify suitable firms to work with regional BDMs.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and CRM system updates, recording discussions and activities.
  • Contact potential new brokers for introductory business.
  • Keep intermediaries informed about new products and features.
  • Handle new business enquiries and speak with introducers.
Requirements:
  • Previous sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Personal Attributes:
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed and deliver results.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
