About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our Regulatory and Compliance team at Dyson GmbH. As a key member of our global Legal Compliance and Ethics function, you will play a critical role in supporting our business in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Head of Legal Compliance and Ethics to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve our compliance and ethics goals.
  2. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams across the EMEA region and at Group level.
  3. Provide expert advice on compliance and ethics risk areas, helping the business navigate complex issues and make informed decisions.
  4. Contribute to the creation of policies, procedures, and guidance, and governance structures for their creation.
  5. Develop and deliver compliance and ethics training programs, working with our Learning team.
  6. Stay up-to-date with developments in compliance and ethics risk areas and provide input on relevant matters.
  7. Manage external counsel as needed, ensuring compliance with our cost management processes.
  8. Travel within the EMEA region and to other regions as required.
Requirements
  1. Passion for compliance and ethics.
  2. Good understanding of compliance and ethics risk areas.
  3. Experience working in a global legal team.
  4. Experience leading compliance and ethics investigations.
  5. Excellent awareness of the role and position of a compliance and ethics function within a multinational business.
  6. Previous involvement in project and change management.
  7. Experience creating policies, procedures, and guidance, and building governance structures for their creation.
  8. Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following risk areas:
  9. Anti-Bribery and Corruption
  10. Competition/Anti-Trust
  11. Sanctions and Trade Controls
  12. Data Protection and Privacy
